The GRR Racing team has always kept weight reduction on their side since the initial build of their Toyota 86 in 2014. One of the first modifications to the race car was a light weight battery, but now, the team is excited to announce their new partnership with Antigravity Batteries!
If you haven’t heard, Antigravity Batteries sells much more than just lightweight batteries. Their product like includes lithium-ion batteries, micro-start jumper starters, electronics, and even adventure products like flashlights, lanterns, and ear buds! “WE are excited to have Antigravity Batteries join us for our 2017 season. Their products are high quality and innovative. I’m definitely stoked on our ATX12-24 lithium ion battery that we use in the race car – even with the long periods of down time we never have to worry about a dead battery!”, driver and team owner Michele Abbate shares. The battery was first installed before their last race at Buttonwillow Raceway with the SCCA US MAjors Tour. The team is currently sitting 2nd in the Western Conference Division in the GT-1 class.
