Abbate Joins Crawford in Supercharged BRZ for 6 Hour WERC Race
GRR Racing teams up with Pink Ribbon Racing/Makes & Models for WERC 6 Hour Race!
The NASA Western Endurance Racing Championship’s 6 hour race is next weekend, August 5th 2017, at Utah Motorsports Campus in Tooele, UT. Local Utah Team, Pink Ribbon Racing / Makes & Models has invited Michele Abbate to co-drive their Supercharged Subaru BRZ in the event.
Toby Crawford, Pink Ribbon Racing/Makes & Models team driver of the BRZ, extended the opportunity to Abbate a few months ago. With the team’s experience from a podium finish and fastest class race lap in last year’s race with their Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo and with help from Abbate’s current sponsors, including: Federal Tire, Ignite Racing Fuel, Fuel Safe, and Ultra Chiller, Abbate and Crawford will team up to take on the 6 hour race.
The race starts at 6:00pm (MDT) on Saturday August 5th and ends at midnight - the entire weekend will consists of NASA’s round 6 schedule so be sure to come out to the event if you are in the area.
