GRR Racing joins Rookie Motorsports for Vegas to Reno!

(Las Vegas, NV) – The GRR Racing team is about to take on their first off-road race with none other than the longest off-road race in the United States! The Best in the Desert 2017 General Tire “Vegas to Reno” presented by FOX will be a 1-day race, approximately 550 miles! The race will start on Friday, August 18th, 2017 and run into Saturday. Texas based off-road racing team Rookie Motorsports invited GRR Racing driver Michele Abbate to join them as navigator in their #1820 Polaris RZR UTV with driver and team owner Ryan McIntire. Rookie Motorsports driver Trek Krabill and navigator Jeff Schulz will complete the ones gunning for the finish line. In addition, GRR Racing Crew Chief Anthony Philleo will join the rest of the support team, which includes Duane Wilde and Kyle Ford, in the chase truck for the weekend.

With no prior off-road experience, Abbate plans to absorb all that’s possible to learn with the team; truly carrying out the Rookie Motorsports name!
